The terms covering use of Dealer Synapse by dealership staff.
Last updated September 9, 2026
By signing in to or using Dealer Synapse, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, the dealership that authorized your account.
Dealer Synapse is a service-desk tool for Jaguar Land Rover dealership fixed operations: vehicle and repair-order lookup, recall and warranty grounding, declined-service follow-up, and related reporting, answered by an AI model grounded in the dealership's own data. It is currently operated as an early-stage pilot and continues to change frequently.
Accounts are issued per staff member, not shared. You're responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. A dealership administrator can deactivate any account at any time, which ends that account's access immediately.
The service is for legitimate dealership operations only. Don't attempt to access another dealership's data, bypass access controls, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or a customer's own privacy rights.
The dealership retains ownership of its own operating data (vehicle records, repair orders, customer information entered by staff). Use of that data by Dealer Synapse to operate the service is described in the Privacy Policy.
Answers are grounded in the dealership's own data and public sources (e.g. NHTSA recall data) where available, but the service is a decision-support tool, not a substitute for a technician's own judgment or the vehicle manufacturer's official documentation. Always verify safety-critical information (recalls, warranty coverage, torque specs) against the authoritative source before acting on it.
As an early-stage pilot, the service is provided without a formal uptime guarantee. We work to keep it reliably available — including active monitoring and alerting for outages — but the service is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dealer Synapse and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Either party may stop using or providing the service at any time. Data deletion on termination is handled per the retention terms described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms may be updated as the product evolves. The date at the top of this page always reflects the current version.
